Stephen is a second-year student at Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, Michigan. Stephen worked at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Detroit for the fall semester of 2007. Stephen is also an alumnus of Wayne State University, where he was a two-time letterman on the football team and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology.
Stephen is widely involved in community service. He is co-founder, Executive Director, and Chairman of The Fairy God Foundation in Hyden, KY. He co-chairs the Community Service Committee of the Wayne State University Law School Student Board of Governors. He was the ASP Coordinator at Nardin Park United Methodist Church in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where he has volunteered with the Appalachia Service Project (ASP) since 1999. Stephen also volunteers with Cass Community Social Services, Focus:HOPE and South Oakland Shelter.
Stephen's hobbies include lifting weights, cooking, playing sports, buffets, backpacking in the Rockies and road trips.
